The fifth edition of the Tour of Victory (2.2) took place between 26. and 30. August 2010 in the Asian part of Turkey. The five stages had a total length of 516 km. The first stage from Inebolu to Kastamonu with its 93 km length, was relatively short, but big climbs tore the peloton of 53 cyclists apart and kept 6 of them to qualify for next stage, and two failed to complete. Vladimir Koev from Hemus 1896 - VIVELO not only finished third, in 9 s to the winner Mert Mutlu (Turkey), but showed that he has no match in overcoming heights, and putted the red jersey for best climber. Stage two from Kastamonu to Cankiri had a total length of 113 km. Vladimir Koev was once again untouchable in overcoming heights and kept the red jersey and his third place in the GC. In the third stage of Cankiri to Ankara with a length of 99 km Vladimir Koev narrowed the gap to the leader Mert Mutlu to +51 s and maintained his third place in the GC. Stage four was a criterium on the streets of Eskisehir, consisting of 20 laps of 3,2 km, in which the best time of 1 h 18 min 17 s, gave the Bulgarians Georgi Georgiev and Maritin Grashev. Vladimir Koev maintained his third place in the GC. The fifth stage was flat and Svetoslav Chanliev, Daniel Petrov and Vladimir Koev from Hemus 1896 - VIVELO did not allow any surprises on the 152 kilometers from Eskisehir to Dumlupinar. They crossed the finish line with a time equal to that of the winner and thus secured the second place for the UCI Continental Hemus 1896 - VIVELO in the final Team classification and the third place in the final standings for Vladimir Koev. The participation in the Tour of Victory (2.2) became not only a substantial element of the team's preparation for the 60th jubilee edition of the Tour of Bulgaria (2.2) but also the next in the row of triumphs of the tactical discipline and the team spirit of the iron men from Hemus 1896 - ViVELO.
